Hi, my name is

Trudie (macdonald) Charbonneau

BSc, AUBS, MACP, LCT-C

My education and career journey has taken me across Canada and now I have settled back home in New Brunswick. I spent a decade working primarily with children and youth who have autism and/or ADHD. Since beginning my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology in 2021, I have expanded my knowledge and experience to working with adults as well, offering counselling therapy services for general mental health issues and life's inevitable challenges. Now, as an LCT-C, I work in private practice. I am thrilled to welcome you to my office in Fredericton as well as offer tele-mental health services to individuals and couples across the province.

I am firstly a person-centred therapist and expand on this to offer tools and techniques suited to each individual and their preferences. Each session is tailored to your needs at that moment and we will work together to help you reach your goals.

What I offer every client is unconditional positive regard and acceptance as you are. It is from here that we begin to build toward closer alignment between how you live and how you want to live your life. I offer a safe space for this exploration, building of awareness and skills, healing, and change.

If you are looking for calm and compassionate support in your struggle, gentle guidance, to build on your coping skills, or to have a better understanding of yourself and your past, I may be the therapist for you. Please contact me to book a free 15-minute consultation that will help us determine if we are a good fit for working together. I would love to meet you.
